Matte Event Recap

On September 16th we strolled en masse to the neighborhood where our journey began. We celebrated 10 years of creativity in collaboration with The Macallan, a mere stone’s throw from our humble beginning on Ludlow St, at what is now the beating heart of downtown: 9 Orchard. A studio is just space without people. Foremost, MATTE10 is a celebration of collaboration, friendship and our commitment to excellence. We gathered our most valued past and present collaborators, as well as a collection of our oldest friends for signature drinks provided by The Macallan followed by an intimate dinner. Hosting 40 esteemed guests of The Macallan and MATTE's own, including Hannah Bronfman, Ivan Olita, Waris Ahluwalia, Edward Barsamian and more celebrating a decade of creativity by connecting and furthering the spirit of collaboration, which has always been our north star.

The evening unfolded upon the rooftop at sunset, where guests and adored clients danced the night away with DJ sets by Renata do Valle, Ash Lauryn and Eric Duncan. A theme of hedonism spilled over to the afterparty at Outer Heaven, where the entire Matte Team closed out the night with glamour and debauchery. As the city lights dimmed, the night resonated with infectious laughter and celebration, distilling a moment truly emblematic of our vibrant journey together
