Bottega Veneta Detroit Salon 03
The Context
Bottega Veneta’s first fashion show in Detroit, titled ‘Salon 03’ gathered guests around a boxing ring-inspired stage as models walked out to an original score by Moodyman. The live runway in Michigan simultaneously streamed front-and-center in Times Square, repositioning the center of NYFW.
A beyond-loaded fashion schedule demanded that the culture-leading Bottega Veneta create and distribute a fashion show that broke all the best rules to drive conversation and relevance for the storied house.
The Approach
MATTE’s role was crucial for the execution of Bottega’s ambition. Hosting a NYFW event in Detroit could certainly create a splash, but not if there was no way to see it. MATTE’s on-the-ground content capture of the fashion show included a live stream feed that took over notable screens in Times Square, which ensured that Bottega’s Detroit show still turned heads and made headlines in the heart of NY.
The Outcome
With agile delivery of the multi-camera runway capture and simultaneous live stream, MATTE amplified the visibility of Bottega’s activation across two cultural hubs.
