MATTE BLACK is our annual rite of spring, an experience at the intersection of music, art, design and digital technology. In 2022, BLACK was held at the beloved Knockdown Center, and featured DJ sets by Peggy Gou, Heron Preston, Marcel Dettmann, and more. In addition, an international body of artists presented installations as an immersive addition to BLACK. Artists included 404.Zero, Ivan Navarro, Jacolby Saterwhite, and Benjamin Gordon.
