On July 8th 2017, Full Moon descended upon the beaches of Governors Island for the very first time. A festival with worldly sensibility and New York swagger, Full Moon (now La Luna) was one of New York’s largest independent music festivals and was at the forefront of the boutique festival trend. Dozens of artists, cultural institutions, culinary divines, and musicians divide over two emblematic locations - Full Moon by Day on the paradisiacal waterfront of Governors Island, and Full Moon by Night held in an undisclosed industrial playground.
