TOM FORD FW/18 WOMEN’S SHOW

For Tom Ford's Fall/Winter 2018 shows, the luxury label approached MATTE for another year of content capture, this time covering both the Men's and Women's shows. MATTE additionally supplied Instagram Live coverage shot on mobile devices to bring the shows to global audiences instantaneously.

 Produced by Prodject, the Park Avenue Armory was transformed, boasting a custom runway in upholstered in lilac-colored carpet. Guests were treated to champagne at a glowing lavender bar pre-show, and notable attendees included Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Anwar Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Doutzen Kroes. 
 
 

MATTE employed multiple cameras to achieve a wide range of cinematic angles. Timelapse cameras captured the construction of the elaborate set, while drones flew overhead, dynamically covering the show from all possible vantage points. MATTE used cinema cameras to film high-quality Instagram Story content, that was live-edited on-site and posted on Tom Ford's social channels. All film assets were delivered within 24 hours of the event.
