MATTE partnered with menswear brand, Rochambeau, fast becoming known for its ongoing contemporary art collaborations,
to unveil an exclusive retail partnership with the New Museum on Friday, September 7, 2018.
Powered by Avery Dennison, the experience included a unique participatory showcase featuring a new sculptural installation by Aaron Curry in the ground floor window. The event raised brand awareness with a full-scale takeover of the museum’s lobby, which reimagined the museum through the eyes of Aaron Curry, paired with a long-term interactive installation piece in the Museum’s storefront window.
The partnership was celebrated with a one-of-a-kind fashion week bash, with live performances and a who’s who guest list.
