As Marriott International’s go-to creative agency for The Luxury Collection, MATTE creates ongoing content for social and digital. MATTE’s first film series features Mercedes Salazar, a Colombian jewelry designer who collaborated with The Luxury Collection to create a limited-edition capsule collection of jewelry and accessories. Surrounding Mercedes’ “Source of Creativity” for the collection, it is a tribute to Salazar’s inspiration, from the artisans she met in each location to the colors and scents throughout the beloved country and three Luxury Collection hotels.
The series’ second film titled “10 Hours in Mexico” reflects Mercedes’ travels through a theoretical day. She begins with peace and quiet at The Luxury Collection’s Solaz Resort in Los Cabos, onto the clamor and excitement at Las Alcobas in Mexico City and ending at Hacienda Temozon and Hacienda Santa Rosa in the Yucatan, both rich in heritage. MATTE continues to travel around the globe with The Luxury Collection, providing creative direction and film & photo production.
