H&M and Kenzo came together in a modern fashion show produced by Prodject that was a true spectacle — an 18 minute choreographed performance piece, directed by the legendary Gil Machac, set against a square runway, featuring an ensemble cast of dancers, brass players, drummers, MCs, models and a DJ.
“WE WANTED TO TELL THE STORY OF THE BRAND AND OF US.”
-Humberto Leon, Kenzo
The collection reflects the immediate moment, bringing together the familiar longtime Kenzo themes and H&M’s fast fashion approach – yielding an assortment of unapologetically wild pieces.
“ANYONE WHO MANAGES TO GET ONE WILL OWN A REAL PIECE OF FASHION HISTORY.”
-Carol Lim, Kenzo
MATTE was brought on by Prodject to film and photograph the show. We also captured the event behind the scenes, all in one day’s notice.
