Cartier x MATTE: Live Event as Visual Art
Since 2017, Cartier has selected MATTE to uplift key event capture opportunities, transforming them into editorialized visuals that share an exclusive experience with a global audience, and preserve an ephemeral experience like a diamond.
MATTE’s projects with Cartier are each their own combination of film and experience. Early on in our partnership, we established a standard of quality for content capture uncharacteristic of events: high-end, upscale, and editorial. This style has quickly become Cartier’s signature, bringing pioneer filmmaking formats to the live event setting.
Over the course of five years, our collaborations often demand top-quality visuals paired with immediacy for social media, requiring MATTE’s extensive creative infrastructure that supports production onsite. Turning around social media edits mid-experience, MATTE maintains studio commercial production value—reaching global viewers with exclusive content as the heat of the event continues to blaze.
