Icy Season: A Saweetie Special
MATTE collaborated with Calvin Klein as the creative and production partner for their 2021 launch with Amazon Fashion. Titled Icy Season: A Saweetie Special, MATTE creative directed a 35-minute shoppable spectacular streamed on Amazon Live and the Amazon Music Twitch channel.
The show included live musical and dance performances, with Saweetie performing top hits “Best Friend” and “Tap In,” and debuting her new track, “Icy Chain.” She also performed an exclusive track, “Icy Grl (Holiday Edition)“.
Each live performance featured new arrangements across multiple stages and choreography. MATTE turned around all video and photo assets within 24 hours of the show.
“Working with Calvin Klein and Amazon to curate my own show was so amazing– it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done,” said Saweetie.
“The holidays are super special to me and that’s something I wanted to share with my fans and give them something extra icy. The show has a lot of firsts – new songs, new dances, and a bunch of surprises that I was so excited to bring to life. I hope everyone has a good time watching it and I want all my fans to feel inspired during the holidays.”
