MATTE is transforming the look and feel of Auberge’s social channels to focus on the details of what makes travel so magical — the intimate shared moments, solo exploration, and every sight, smell and experience in between.

LOOK + FEEL
MATTE is auditing existing creative assets and shooting new content throughout 2021 to create imagery that feels both luxurious and relaxed, not highly stylized or contrived. On social, we are transforming Auberge’s channels to paint a visual journey unique to each destination and property with photography that employs interesting compositions, depth of field, shadow capture, and contrasting colors and depict lived-in feeling interiors, candid lifestyle shots, authentic moments, and the unexpected features that each property has to offer.

TONE OF VOICE
Our take on copywriting is both editorial and poetic; storytelling is approached through the lens of inspiration, spontaneity, and first-hand experience. Broadly speaking, all social feeds and digital platforms are evolving to sound like elevated journals penned by the most interesting and eclectic travelers in the world.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT + SOCIAL REPORTING
MATTE has written individualized Social Playbooks for each property under the Auberge Resorts Collection umbrella to share best practices across all platforms and provide each property with the tools they need to elevate their channels. We’ve taken a proactive approach to community management, setting up protocol for automated communication, content development, community engagement, guidelines for reposting press and worthy mentions/tags, crisis management and tastemaker partnerships.
