MOËT & CHANDON
Nectar of The Culture
360° CONCEPTUALIZATION AND PRODUCTION OF A CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT PLATFORM
To debut Moët’s new annual program Nectar of the Culture, MATTE concepted and executed a series of shoots and celebratory events, honoring a new class of cultural pioneers in key cities across the US. Themed around each of the pioneers’ hometown and creative space, the program highlights the people, places and moments pushing culture forward – impacting a new generation Moët dubbed The Rose Gold Era.
Content production included 60-second teaser films and real-time stories for social, anchored by portraits by famed hip-hop photographer, Jonathan Mannion.

NEW YORK
Queens-born fashion designer LaQuan Smith opened the series with a dinner held in a Garment District loft. Reflecting LaQuan as a New York-bred designer, the space brought the city’s past into the present with a refined, but modern take on the city’s iconic garment district fabric stores.

ATLANTA
Celebrating Teheran Jones, founder of Exclusive Game Clothing, and influenced by the clothier’s luxury streetwear and bold aesthetic, we hosted a Baroque-inspired dinner at State Farm Arena, with Mannion’s photos of T hanging from the rafters like championship banners.

MIAMI
Paying homage to Miami with an Art Basel party we highlighted reggaeton superstar De La Ghetto and his contributions to the city’s music scene. Hosted at the Mandrake Miami, the intimate dinner drew a cross-section of Art Basel’s crowd including Pusha T, DJ Irie, and King Hoodie.

CHICAGO
We honored power couple Don C, founder of concept store & fashion brand RSVP Gallery, and Kristen Noel Crawley, founder of KNC Beauty, through an NBA All-Star Weekend brunch.
The Chicago brunch saw the reveal of the official pioneer portraits by photographer Jonathan Mannion. We supplemented the brunch with content captured at the Moët-sponsored Jordan party for live social posting, weaving coverage into the brand’s All Star Weekend Social plan.
