Supporting the reveal of the reimagined adidas Nite Jogger, MATTE produced a series of workshops for major boutique partners, Extra Butter, Packer Shoes, Social Status, Notre, Sneakersnstuff, UNDFTD and Bait in the leading NYC and LA markets. The intimate experience fostered a collaborative environment of idea sharing and marketing campaign development.
Venue approach contrasted both host cities with LA workshop and dinner space featuring a raw and downtown look and feel while NYC featured a sleek and traditional look and feel. This approach created unique and unpredictable experiences for both cities.Taking cues from the shoes creative, workshop decor featured an industrial feel by utilizing linear light patterns, reflective and industrial materials. Gritty finishes and textures such as metal, mirror and gravel were reminiscent of the urban cityscapes true ‘night joggers’ thrive in.
Serving as the supreme event moment, product was seeded to guests through custom interactive product display plinths. Following the workshop, guests were invited to a private dinner. Decor continued to carry the gritty aesthetic all the way from the mirrored welcome messaging signage to gravel and loose floral tablescapes.
